1990

My first electronic keyboards: the Yamaha PF-80 stage piano, on top the Roland D-20 workstation.

1992

Kawai Q-80 sequencer and Roland D-110 rack module to soon replace the D-20; my first sampler, the Roland S-50 (with external monochrome CRT); Roland D-20; Fostex X-26 4-track tape recorder/6-ch mixer and Alesis Microverb for improved recording.

1993

1995

rack on the left conains (from top) Boss BX-16 mixer, Korg DRM-1 drum module (triggered by the 2 Simmons pads on the right), Behringer SNR-2200 denoiser, Alesis Microverb, Yamaha FX-900, Yamaha TX-802, Roland S-760 (which had replaced the S-330), Anatek SMP-16 programmable audio/MIDI patchbay.

In the middle (from top): Atari SM124 CRT, Atari 1024ST computer running Cubase 1, Korg Wavestation EX.

On the right Kawai K5 synth with Q-80 sequencer on top, Roland SPD-8 drum pad (from a friend), 2 Simmons Hexapads.

2001

My first PA with dedicated products (instead of using the hifi): Yamaha A100a stereo amplifier, 2 x Event 2020 monitor speakers.

2007

Due to limited space I had sold most rack modules and switched to VSTi; keyboard stand (from top): Korg MS-20, Yamaha Motif ES-6 incl. PLG150AN and PLG150DX, Fatar SL-880.

In the middle: 2 x Event 2020, Yamaha A100a, custom WinXP PC running Cubase SX2, Waldorf Edition and Virsyn Cube2.

2009

Not many visible changes; keyboard stand (from top): Korg MS-20, Korg Wavestation EX, Yamaha Motif ES-8 workstation (great sound, great keyboard action) incl. PLG150AN, PLG150DX and PLG150VL.

2 x Event 2020, Yamaha A100a, custom WinXP PC, Korg Legacy Collection.
